Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in ID 1332 or instructor consent. Examines materials, finishes, and textiles used in the built environment with an emphasis on performance characteristics, testing standards, and sustainability. Students evaluate product applications by considering life cycle and supply chain impacts while integrating cultural and global influences.
