BUS 2315: Business Communications (COIL)

Prerequisite(s): ENG 1310 or ENG 1304 or BIC 1323 or PHI 1301 or CLA 1304 or GTX 1301; Only open to BBA students. This course develops foundational professional communication skills for today’s business environment. Students practice writing clear, concise, and audience-centered messages; crafting professional emails and career documents; and delivering engaging presentations. Emphasis is placed on authenticity, ethical persuasion, storytelling, and effective use of digital and AI tools. Students also collaborate in cross-cultural virtual teams through a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project, strengthening cultural agility, teamwork, and global business communication skills.
